COMPETITION RESULTS 2011
WAG LEVEL 6-10 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS & NSW REPRESENTATIVE COMPETITIONS
Congratulations to our Level 8-10 Gymnasts for Outstanding competitions in 2011. Penny Smith competed in Level 10 and placed 6th in NSW at the NSW State Championships in May. She represented NSW at the National Championships in Perth in July. Well Done also to Terri Vandarakis. Terri competed in Level 8 and placed in the Top 12 in NSW in May. She also represented NSW at the "Border Challenge" held in September in QLD.
WAG LEVEL 4 & 5 NATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Fantastic Results from our Level 4 & 5 Gymnasts this year. Elite Gymsports has around 12 gymnasts who represented the Club at various competitions in 2011. Some of our top results include:-

Once again a great year for our lower Levels National Gymnasts. All gymnasts walked away from many competitions jingling with medals and awards. Our Top results include:-

LEVEL 1 NATIONAL - Senior Division OVERALL STATE CHAMPIONS plus various apparatus placings
LEVEL 1 NATIONAL - Intermediate Division 3rd Place Vault
LEVEL 1 NATIONAL - Junior Division OVERALL 4th PLACE plus various appartus placings

We had a large number of gymnasts attend Invitational Competitions and the NSW State Stream State Championships in August this year. Many girls receiving some wonderful scores and placings overall. Well Done in particular to the following girls:-

COMPETITION RESULTS 2010
INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (IDP)
Congratulations to Harriety Hunniset for placing 6th Overall at the International Development Program 3. Individual apparatus include 3rd Vault, 6th Beam and 8th Floor. A congratulations also to Savannah Fisher in IDP 1 for placing 10th at both State Trials.
LEVEL 7-10 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS & QLD BORDER CHALLENGE
A fantastic effort by Penny Smith, who placed 4th Overall at the NSW Level 7-10 State Championships in 2010. Penny also placed 3rd Vault, 4th Bars, 4th Beam and 2nd Floor.
Congratulations also to Penny Smith on placing 1st Overall at the "Border Challenge" held in QLD in September. The NSW Team placed 1st, while Penny placed 1st Bars, 1st Beam, 1st Floor & 3rd Vault in Level 8. A well deserved achievement.
TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING
Congratulations to our Trampolinists for a great competition at the NSW State Levels Championships. All competitors did a great job. A special Congratulations to placing in the Top 6:-

LEVEL 1-6 STATE STREAM / PREPARATION
Congratulations to our Level 4-6 State Stream Gymnasts for performing well at the State Championships on 14th - 15th August 2010. A special congratulations to Denai Maglasis for placing 1st Overall in Level 4 State Stream. Other placing include 2nd Place Bars, 2nd Place Beam, and 3rd Place Floor. A fantastic effort!!!
LEVEL 1-3 NATIONAL
Well Done to our Level 1-3 gymnasts who placed in top 6 at the "Outer City Region" state trials. These girls represented the region at the NSW State Championships in September. These girls were Sophia Karagiorgas, Sascha Kolimackovski, Isabella Mendes, Ashley Velovski, Emily Hawkins, Staci Kotzaitsis & Arna Nocita.
Outstanding results to our Level 3 State Champion Arna Nocita. Placings include 5th Vault, 4th Bars and Floor & Beam State Champion. Great results also to Emily Hawkins for placing 2nd Bars in Level 2. Staci Kotzaitsis also placed in top ten - 7th Beam & 8th Floor. Well Done girls.
LEVEL 4-6 NATIONAL
A great competition season for all our Level 4-6 Gymnasts, placing in the top 6 numerous times throughout the six main competitions held from July to September this year. Particular Congratulations to Isobel Hunnisett and Terri Vandarakis for placing numberous times in the top 3. Other gymnasts representing the club at State Championships include Hayley Dedes, Emma Messner & Talia Fisher.
Well done to all girls for a great effort at the NSW State Championships in October. Some great results include Isobel Hunnisett for placing 7th Overall, 2nd on Floor and 4th on Bars. Hayley Dedes placing 4th Bars and Terri Vandarakis placing 6th Floor.

COMPETITION RESULTS 2008
QLD WET N WILD TEAM CARNIVAL
Congratulations to our gymnasts and cheerleaders who competed on the Gold Coast on 25th - 29th September 2008. There were over 20 clubs from all over Australia and we came out 2ND!!!
