LEVEL 7-10 & INTERNATIONAL NSW STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to our gymnasts who were selected into the NSW International Elite State Championships or Level 7-10 National Stream on 12th - 13th June 2010. A particular congratulations to Penny Smith for placing 4th Overall in Level 8 and Harriet Hunnisett for placing 6th Overall in International 3. Well Done Girls!!!

LEVEL 4-6 STATE STREAM STATE 2010

Congratulations to our Level 4-6 State Stream Gymnasts for performing well at the State Championships on 14th - 15th August 2010. A special congratulations to Denai Maglasis for winning 2nd Place Bars, 2nd Place Beam, and 3rd Place Floor. A fantastic effort!!!

STATE LEVELS TRAMPOLINING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010

A big congratulations to all of our Trampolinists who competed in the 2010 State Levels NSW State Championships. We had many placings in the top 3 including;

Emma Burgess 1st Place (Level 5 Dbl Mini), Emma Messner 2nd Place (Level 3 Trampoline), Francesca Stokes 2nd Place (Level 3 Dbl Mini), Emma Burgess 2nd Place (Level 5 Trampoline), Emily Cox 3rd Place (Level 3 Dbl-mini) & Terri-Aspa Vandarakis 5th Place (Level 4 Tumbling). Well done to all the competitors for such outstanding results.

Elite Gymsports Academy is a gymnastics based club located in Peakhurst, south of Sydney.

Our gymnasium has Olympic standard equipment including floors, beams, bars and various trampolines. Beginner to Advanced classes available include Gymnastics, American Cheerleading & Trampolining and Tumbling for both boys and girls. A basic Circus Skills and Rhythmic Gymnastics program is also offered for primary school term programs and during holiday programs.

The club provides quality programs with experienced coaches and has been very successful at both NSW and out of state competitions. We also have an elite program that started in 2008, with one of our gymnasts placing 6th Overall at the NSW International and Elite State Championships in 2010.

Beginner classes are generally divided by age, however, assessments are available to help place participants in the correct class to ensure they are both challenged and in a safe learning environment.
